The University of Louisiana at Monroe has narrowed its search for a new Athletic Director to just three candidates from a field of more than 40 applicants. The three finalists were on campus the week of June 17-21 for interview with President Nick Bruno.

McDonald
ULM AD Search Committee Chair Scott McDonald said he is proud of the committee's hard work throughout the selection process.
 
"We believe that the three remaining candidates are highly qualified to be the next Athletic Director at ULM," said McDonald.
 
Josh Brooks, Brian Wickstrom, and Chris King were interviewed by Bruno the week of June 17-21.
 
Brooks
Josh Brooks currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director for the University of Georgia, having worked in their athletics department since 2008.
 
Prior to 2008, Brooks worked for the University of Louisiana at Monroe as Director of Operations and Director of Football Operations, beginning in 2004.
 
He received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 1998, studied Secondary Education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe from 2002-2003, and is currently seeking his Master of Education in Sport Management from the University of Georgia.
 
Wickstrom
Brian Wickstrom has worked as the Director of Athletics for the University of California, Riverside since July 2011.
 
He has served in various roles in athletics departments across the country since 1998.
In 1991, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration before receiving his Master of Business Administration/Management in 1992, both from Kansas State University.
 
He earned a Master of Sports Administration from Ohio University in 1999 and a Doctor of Education/Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University in 2006.
 
King
Chris King has served as the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Texas-Pan American since October 2009.
 
He has also worked as the Associate Athletic Director for Administration at the University of Alabama, and the Assistant Athletic Director at University of Central Florida.
 
In 1994, he received his Bachelor of Science in Business/Sport Administration from Robert Morris College, and in 1997, he obtained a Master of Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership/Supervision from Campbell University.
