Tribute Concert Honors Jewish-American Composers | 1-21-14

Gershwin, Berlin, Copland - just some of the most-recognized composers in music.  Their work, and that of other Jewish-American composers, is featured in a concert this Saturday at Temple B'nai Israel in Monroe.  Local artists perform an evening of treasured classics, including some selections of contemporary composers.  Event co-coordinator Phyllis Marcus previews the benefit program, which helps fund preservation efforts of the historic cemetery.
