Teacher Groups Satisfied With Ruling on Voucher Program | 5-9-13

Several organizations are hailing the Louisiana State Supreme Court ruling that funding of the voucher program is unconstitutional.  Governor Bobby Jindal remains steadfast in support of the program, saying the court only decided the funding mechanism was struck down in the case.  Monroe Federation of Teachers President Sandie Lollie says the decision gives hope in seeing other parts of last year's reform being overturned.
