Sweep Cleans Up Area Waterways | 9-18-14

A Water Sweep event this Saturday encourages residents to volunteer in cleaning up a portion of the Ouachita River.  The sweep not only helps one of the main waterways in the parish, but also improves tributaries and runoff areas that can often house debris that goes unseen.  The event launches from several boat docks in Monroe and West Monroe.
