Support Stretches Zoo's Mission | 7-21-14

Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo volunteer Gary Miers was amazed by working with animals in his childhood.  The opportunity to assist in working with a tiger sealed Miers' committment to get involved with the zoo.  The efforts of volunteers, combined with the work of the zoological society, create awareness of the site.  A new children's attraction and plans for society membership look to further the work of the zoo.
