Excerpts of StoryCorps recordings are featured on NPR's Morning Edition, airing locally on KEDM Public Radio at 5:20 and 7:20 a.m. every Friday.

Orientation Brings Students to Campus

Miller Hall

The Preview Registration and Enrollment Program, or PREP,  is a two-day orientation program designed to help new students make a smooth transition to college life at ULM.

Students attending will select fall classes, scope out the campus, and meet their fellow classmates. They also meet with faculty and administrators, take necessary placement exams, change majors if needed, and finally make course selections. Students leave PREP with a completed schedule of classes for the fall semester.

Associate Provost for Enrollment Lisa Miller and Coordinator of Orientation Seth Hall say that PREP helps with the transition to college life, and leaves students with the excitement of becoming true ULM Warhawks.
