Report Chides State DEQ Over Environmental Enforcement

An EPA Inspector General's report concludes Louisiana's Department of Environmental Quality is not adequately enforcing violations of clean air, water, and hazardous waste laws.  Enviromental advocates say its a chronic problem and are calling for federal oversight.  DEQ officials say compliance is being achieved and that the report is inaccurate.
