Police Urge Attentive Driving as Area Sees String of Fatal Accidents | 7-16-14

A number of automobile accidents in the past two weeks has resulted in fatalities.  Distracted driving and pedestrians walking along major roadways have been noted in these cases.  Louisiana State Police Trooper Albert Paxton encourages drivers to be more attentive during the summer.  He says the season means more people are active in the evening and traffic tends to be greater with highway travel.
