Over half a million adults in Louisiana have some college experience, but no degree. A new statewide degree in Organizational Leadership offers them a chance to finish a college degree, but also to be better prepared for management positions in a wide range of professions.

The Board of Regents estimates that there are over 500,000 adults in Louisiana who have completed some college, but who have not attained a degree. This is why nine universities are offering a B.A. in Organizational Leadership. Each university will offer its own unique concentration.

ULM’s concentration will be financial services and is anticipated to be one of the more popular options because of its usefulness to a broad range of jobs.

With this degree people will be able to achieve higher management positions in the workplace.

The program will admit students no younger than 25 years old who have previously completed at least 60 hours of college-level credit. Each university will offer at 30-hour concentration and there will be a 30-hour core common to all concentrations.
