"The place was a mess," after water damage from Hurricanes Gustav and Ike in 2008. Dr. Denny Ryman, Dean of the College of Health Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, explains the Nursing Building seems almost brand-new today after a 2.5 million dollar renovation project that took nearly two years to complete.

Dr. Florencetta Gibson, Director of the School of Nursing, explains that the open house on Friday October 8 at 10:30 a.m. begins the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the program at ULM.
