Listing Brings Promise Of Tourism For Poverty Point | 8-18-14

The addition of Poverty Point State Park to the World Heritage List holds the promise of more visitors to the site.  The Louisiana Office of Tourism is working with towns and communities in the area to gear up for a promotional push to make the trip to see the ancient earthen mounds.
