Legislative Session Closes With Little Fanfare | 6-4-14

The 2014 Louisiana legislative session came to a close Monday night.  The lawmaking event lacked the political punch of recent sessions.  Governor Jindal withdrew his support of Common Core, a topic that most anticipated would draw lively debate.  ULM Political Science Professor Dr. Joshua Stockley says the majority of the session dealt with minor items and left financial issues to be addressed down the road.
