A full sized cast of the skull of a Tyrannasaurus Rex. A 2,000 pound antelope. The largest collection of plant specimens in Louisiana. In over 6,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Museum of Natural History at the University of Louisiana at Monroe offers these and many more wonders.

Museum Director Dr. Gary Stringer says the museum focuses on making natural history accessible to a broad audience here in northeast Louisiana. Stringer is also the department head for Atmospheric Science, Earth Science and Physics at ULM, and helps coordinate an all-volunteer staff for the museum.
