The Meadows Museum of Art, at Centenary College in Shreveport, opens "Sacred Symbols in Sequins: Vintage Haitian Vodou Flags" on September 1. Early to Mid-20th Century Vodou Flags will be featured. The flags and bottles in the exhibit are among the most sacred and expensive ritual implements in the temple.
