Experiencing different cultures broadens our horizons. Two groups of students from the University of Louisiana at Monroe took part in programs this summer that included travel throughout Europe.

The Compass Program is study-abroad program based in Europe for five weeks each summer.

The Compass is based on the concept of a portable learning community and the program resides and teaches in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris and London.

The British Studies Program, one of ULM's longest running study abroad programs for over 35 years, offers students the opportunity to study in London, the United Kingdom and the European continent.

Dr. Joni Noble, coordinator of ULM’s Study Abroad program, says “This program is a life changing experience for all students.”
